We are excited to launch the Sustainable snapshots: putting Country into focus photography competition. This competition invites you to share photographs that showcase the natural environment, that capture your connections with Country at UOW or that demonstrate behaviours and actions that are environmentally sustainable.
Put Country into focus
Participate in the Sustainable Snapshots competition to share images that celebrate Country and/or your connection. Use your creative skills to capture photos that tell a story of respect, relationship. responsibility, and environmental sustainability.
Competition categories
- Connection to Country: Photos showcasing the natural environment at UOW or highlighting how staff and students connect to Country.
- Sustainability in action: Photos depicting how staff and students implement environmental sustainability in their daily activities at UOW.
The competition closes on Monday, 23 September, 5 pm.

- First Prize: $250 (staff), $250 (student)
- Second Prize: $150 (staff), $150 (student)
- People’s Choice Award: $150 (staff or student)
Campus lunchtime landscape walks
Discover the natural aspects and history of the campus landscape and learn about the local wildlife.

Spotlight walk and talks
Explore the native animals of ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵapp Campus on a Spotlight Walk and Talk.

- Location: ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵapp Campus

Attend the exhibition launch
The photographs entered in the competition will be on exhibition from Tuesday, 15 October, from 4.30 pm at UOW Gallery, Building 29 at ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵapp campus.
