O-Week fun and games for new students

Did someone say, "pool party"?

Hundreds of students will be flocking to campus this week to indulge a little fun before they start their studies.

The three-day O-Week festival kicked off this week with the pool party, followed by movies, munchies and markets under the stars on Wednesday evening. It wraps up on Thursday with the GLO-Party at the UniBar, headlined by Dappled Cities with D’luna and Keyes supporting.

More than 50 clubs and societies will be involved in the festival each day, all hoping to meet new people and share their UOW experiences.

This year UOW is welcoming a record number of students in 2015 with more than 7,200 new students and almost 15,000 continuing students at UOW’s Australian Campuses, including five regional centres.
